A little help for your phone

Save an X video on iPhone.

Your browser may open the video first. That’s normal.

Start with the MP4 link

  1. Copy the X post link from its share menu.
  2. Open TwitterDownloads in Safari, paste the URL and get video links.
  3. Choose a quality and open its MP4.

If Safari plays the video

Look for Safari’s share menu or a download option. Controls vary with iOS and whether you use an in-app browser.

Save through Files

If downloading is offered, find the saved file in Safari’s download list or the Files app’s Downloads folder. Open it and use Share → Save Video when iOS offers that option.

If “Save Video” is missing

Try Safari outside X’s in-app browser, or copy the direct MP4 link and use a desktop browser. We cannot force videos into Photos or confirm a save completed.

Downloading does not transfer copyright. Save only media you have permission to use.
