Why is the GIF an MP4?

X commonly delivers animated GIF media using video files. We return the downloadable format it provides, not a converted .gif image.

How to save it

  1. Copy the public post link.
  2. Paste it above and complete the security check.
  3. Open the MP4 or copy its link, then use your browser’s save controls.

Need an actual GIF image? Use a separate converter after downloading, respecting the creator’s rights.
